mōris is an independent community radio from mauritius. a frequency, a library, and a place to belong · for everyone who carries the indian ocean in their ears.
the story
a frequency that became a home
mōris started in 2021 as mauritius community radio · a frequency to keep people connected through covid. the island had gone quiet, so we made a place to gather without leaving home.
when the world reopened, the community never left. what began as a lifeline turned into something we could not switch off.
today it is the platform · live radio, shows, a deep indian ocean library, the storë at caudan, events, and the hüb. the same room, much bigger, still ours.
what we believe
the radio is the heartbeat, the community is the point

every show, every selection comes from people who live this culture. nothing here is automated taste. it is mōris, picked by hand.

no algorithm setting the rotation, no label deciding the sound. we answer to the community and the music, and nothing else.
